Las Vegas - Grand Canyon Itinerary
September 19 – 28, 2008

What to bring for me to haul?
Your Scooter! All luggage, hang
up clothes, helmets, boots, leathers, Camera, etc.
Please DO NOT fill
your gas tanks.
Leave registration, cell phone numbers and emergency
contact information with your bike.
Clothing:
bring appropriate cold weather and warm weather gear. You will need your helmets, jackets, chaps,
gloves and rain gear. Layer your
clothes. It will warm up during the
daytime. Sun block!
You Will Stay at Harrah’s Casino

You will take a shuttle or cab from the airport (follow the signs to shuttles outside) to The Rio where I will have the truck and trailer parked to pick up your luggage and then continue to Harrah’s.
Shuttle $6.00 – one-way Cab – $10:00 approx.
Note: you may purchase a roundtrip shuttle ticket for your return trip home. Make sure you tell your driver you are stopping at the Rio for your luggage and then continuing on to Harrah’s. Tip Him/Her! You will receive two shuttle tickets, one for that day and one for the return shuttle back to the airport for your flight home. All you will need to do is call and confirm the shuttle w/i 24hrs and you will be picked up at your hotel.
We will spend the first weekend (Friday, Saturday
and Sunday) in Vegas. Remember there
will be a 3-hour time difference.
We will pack bikes on Sunday to be prepared for the
ride leaving early Monday a.m. for 4 nights and
5days. Back in Vegas Friday late afternoon.
Ride to the Grand Canyon (South & North Rim) –
spend the night at the
North Rim of the Canyon (rooms need to be prepaid)
Entrance fee to Grand Canyon National Park $12
per person
NOTE: Reservations required in advance (2 months)
for dinner at the restaurant in the North Rim Lodge ($$$). You probably wont be
able to eat before 8:00 p.m. based on when you arrive at the North Rim. Also, there is a deli that makes great pizza!
No reservations required.
Ride to Bryce Canyon in Utah – spend the night at
Entrance fee to Bryce $12 per person
Ride to Zion National Park – spend the night in St.
George, Utah
Roadway Inn – rate $69 + tax
Entrance fee to Zion national Park $12 per
person
Ride to Lake Mead
You will arrive in Vegas Friday night to stay at
Harrah’s again.

Load bikes and luggage after lunch
Call to confirm return shuttle to airport
Sunday Sept.28 – fly home!
My fee is $800 for transporting your motorcycle,
luggage and you get a free tour guide.
Or, you may do your own ride.
